As we enter the final weeks of Term 2, pray for teachers to have energy and perseverence and healing where needed.  Pray for school Chapel services to be effective in communicating the gospel and showing students the value and importance of knowing and following Christ.  Pray for schools as they look to recruit teachers for Semester 2, and especially for God to raise up Christian teachers who can teach religious education from a Christian perspective.  Pray for heads of schools and executive staff to make wise decisions which will open and not close doors for Christian teaching.

    • Lanyon High (weekly Christian Education Classes)

    • Macquarie Primary (termly Christian Education Sessions)

  • Pray that Christians working for BHP and those staying in the mining camps can connect and form a Christian community. Pray for wisdom in growing ministry and support in these areas.

  • Praise God for the growth and stability of Crossing Fellowship, now serving multiple campuses through staff and volunteers. Please pray for wisdom, unity, and strength for staff, volunteers, and student leaders across all campuses, that our confidence in understanding and teaching God’s Word will continue to grow.

  • Thank God for bringing many new and returning students to Waseda KGK, Sophia KGK, and Crossing Fellowship. Please pray for provision of stable weekly Bible study spaces for SKGK and for upcoming Shinkan event in May.

  • Praise the Lord for his beautiful creation in Japan and the encouragement it brings through the seasons.

 

From Compassion, Nias Island, Indonesia (April 2026)

  • Pray that God will make a way for youth to be able to attend university, and that God will open doors for those who are finishing their studies.
  • Pray that God will provide for families during seasonal changes, especially those who rely on rain for their daily water and agricultural work.
  • Pray that children will receive the nutrition they need to grow and develop well.
  • Pray for protection and provision for children, families and staff who are affected by the frequent and damaging weather events in Indonesia.
  • Pray that the political situation in Indonesia will be stable.
